acoustigram

OVERVIEW
Acoustigram is a mobile-first storytelling platform that turns cities into living soundscapes through immersive, location-based short-form audio stories. Originally conceived as a way to explore New York City through layered, sensory storytelling, Acoustigram evolved into a creator-powered app disrupting the way we experience and share cultural narratives.
We launched the app by inviting users to explore content via map, list, and AR view. Each story is tethered to a physical location, but the platform allows global access and sharing, making hyper-local storytelling universally engaging. The platform empowers creators and transports listeners, building community and connection through story, space, and sound.
IMPACT
Redefined urban exploration by transforming everyday locations into immersive cultural touchpoints.
Empowered creators with tools to publish, price, and promote their own stories, driving new models for audio monetization.
Built a vibrant audio ecosystem rooted in curiosity and connection—where listeners follow creators, experience 3D stories, and unlock hidden dimensions of the city.
Activated a culturally curious audience who value experience over content, and intimacy over information.
